Hylocereus undatus — Pink-skinned, white-fleshed dragon fruit, known commercially as 'Pattaya.' This is one of the sweetest and mildest varieties in the dragon fruit family — and one of our personal favorites here in Florida.
What makes this variety exceptional is its self-pollinating nature, meaning you don't need a second plant to produce fruit. It boasts an outstanding fruit-set ratio — nearly every flower it produces will develop into a full fruit. Fast-growing, heat-tolerant, and highly productive, it thrives in Florida's climate and is an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced growers.
Highlights:
- Self-pollinating — no companion plant needed
- Exceptional fruit-set ratio
- Pink skin / white flesh with a sweet, mild flavor
- Fast-growing and hardy
- Thrives in full sun, well-draining soil
- Florida-grown cutting
